Many times, even with proper preparation,students get cold feet in the examination hall and that ruins their exams. Preparation has no substitute!Not only when it comes to doing well in the exam but also understanding the correct answers and proper preparation boosts up your confidence.
Below are some essential preparations hacks that will let you stay ahead and confident in preparing for the exam:
Planning Ahead: The idea is to study in small pockets, which is much less stressful and much more productive than studying for insane hours just before the exams!
To analyse what works best for you: We are all very different from each other. What works for me may well prove to be a disaster for you. It is the same with studies.
Take a lot of tests: Get hold of a lot of practice papers from somewhere and solve them after finishing each chapter.The more such tests that you take, the more you will be confident and comfortable with solving questions.
Group Study: Researchers have shown that studying in groups can significantly improve the ability to understand a topic. It is beneficial for commerce subjects to a great extent.
Sleep: Getting a minimum of 7-8 hours of sleep before examination days is a must. Studies have shown that sleep increases alertness of the brain and reduces stress.
Don’t overdo anything: You have to know when you need to stop studying! Over-stuffing the brain is not a good idea, especially just before the exams.
Motivate and energise yourself on the day of the exam: Start the exam day on a positive note. Wake up early in the morning and do something that relaxes you. This will help you focus better.
Take a chill pill: You need to remind yourself that you have prepared well for the exam and there is no reason that you should be worried. Take a deep breath and go for it!
